Relatives and Friends of Patients shall be allowed to visit them on Wednesday in each week between such hours as the Medical Superintendent may direct, and at other times by the special permission of theĀ Medical Superintendent, or in cases of dangerous illness; but no person shall visit a Patient if the Medical Superintendent shall state in writing that the visit will probably be injurious to the Patient, or is otherwise inexpedient.

The general supervision and control of the Asylum is vested in the Visiting Committee for the time being, who shall meet within one month after their election, and shall then appoint a Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and a Clerk to the Visiting Committee.

She shall supply the Medical Superintendent once weekly, or as required, with a list of Patients suitable to attend the dances or the entertainments, or the Church Services, and with list, when the occasion occurs, of such Patients as are eligible for walks beyond the Estate.
